Role Summary
The Manager, Insights & Analytics is responsible for leading the execution of quantitative research and supporting broader insights initiatives for Atomik Research clients. This role ensures high-quality, efficient, and secure delivery of research projects from design through reporting, while mentoring junior team members and partnering with agency stakeholders to deliver actionable, data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple research projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Research Leadership & Execution
- Lead the design, programming, execution, and reporting of quantitative research projects (PR surveys, consumer insights, etc.).
- Own questionnaire development and survey scripting within online platforms.
- Manage sampling strategy, panel partner coordination, feasibility, and pricing.
- Monitor fieldwork, data quality, and completion integrity.
- Clean, analyze, and interpret survey data; develop client-ready reports and insights.
Project & Team Management
- Serve as day-to-day lead for research projects, managing timelines, scopes, and workflows.
- Oversee and mentor the Insights Coordinator.
- Maintain the PR survey project tracker and workflow visibility.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and best-practice research standards.
Insights & Strategy Support
- Support secondary research efforts including media landscape, social analysis, and audience mapping.
- Contribute to consumer, market, and industry research supporting brand positioning and communications strategies.
- Partner with agency teams to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Support new business efforts with research-driven insights and strategic input.
Practice Development
- Help build and evolve Insights best practices, tools, and processes.
- Contribute to the development of proprietary or differentiating research capabilities.
- Act as a positive, collaborative, and forward-thinking influence within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in research, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, PR, Media Studies, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and executing quantitative surveys.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong working knowledge of Office 365.
- Experience with online survey platforms and survey programming.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with PR and marketing communications environments.
- Exposure to Salesforce or CRM platforms.
- Experience with qualitative or secondary research methodologies.
